I'm getting my Wisdom Teeth taken out this Friday morning (bright and early at 7AM!), but my family is going out-of-state for the weekend (Leaving Fri. afternoon, getting back Sun. afternoon) for a wedding. Some people have described being barely functional during the couple days after the surgery, but I *have* to be able to get up and make my meals, and if I'm not fully aware of what I'm doing I don't know if I should trust myself. Also, how long is the swelling expected to last. I'd prefer not to show up at church will a fat face if I can help it.
