Give a profile of orthodontist career outlook?

An Orthodontist is a dentist who has taken a specialty, which is focused on straightening teeth by applying pressure using orthodontic braces or retainers. While some general dentists may perform this service for their patients, the majority will refer them to an orthodontist. These professionals will work with patients to achieve the look they desire in order to improve their facial appearance and overall self confidence. Most orthodontists practice either by themselves or in a small partnership. Further, most orthodontic clinics are found in more affluent areas where residents can afford to pay for these services, which are often quite expensive. There is a larger percentage of men who practice as orthodontists than women.
